“It is your human environment that determines the climate.” Mark Twain already knew that. And the optimum climate is also a theme in our sauna with a view, which is available to our guests.
Up to five people can sweat it out in the heat while enjoying the view of the Neckar River and the rooftops of Heidelberg. Treat yourself to some personal time, find peace and regeneration, relaxation and recuperation on the panoramic terrace.

In the Bergstube, our traditional restaurant in Heidelberg, we satisfy the longing for the Alps and give our guests the feeling of having stopped off at a rustic mountain hut. Between wooden ceilings and red sandstone tiles, the atmosphere is home-style, down-to-earth and hearty. There is a lot to experience in the directly connected beer garden during the summer months. Our modern hotel restaurant “Tante Polly’s” on the first floor is not an à la carte restaurant and is available to our conference guests. The hotel bar “Mark Twain” is open daily from 4 pm.

Your hosts
The married couple Philipp and Ilka Ueberle and Fritz and Nicolette run the hotel together. The hoteliers are true Heidelberg veterans. The brothers have 25 years of gastronomic experience and have successfully managed the Bootshaus restaurant, the Hotel Auerstein and the Deutscher Kaiser in Heidelberg.
